Surprised Biden hasn't declared it a federal holiday. I'm sure he will speak about this on that day, but forgot to mention our veterans who died on Memorial Day..

No. The media basically repeated what the Governor's office sent them and they didn't even question it.
Juneteenth is June 19th. What the actual law did was declare the 3rd Saturday of June a state holiday so the only offices that will close are offices that are normally open on Saturday.
Local governments can close if they want.

Juneteenth is officially a thing. I had all kinds of pride and racial sensitivity training zoom invites pop up on my calendar for work on the 19th. I deleted all the shite.
