Are shoes with rollers in the heal becoming the latest trend?

I keep seeing people walking through Walmart then they suddenly start gliding, like they are skating. Is this going to become the new trend? Would an adult look stupid if he wore these shoes? It would cut down on walking time?

When these were fairly new in the early 2000's my kids wore them at Disney World. They were gliding everywhere. We went back a year or two later and Disney World banned them.

I don't know. I keep seeing people gliding through Walmart with them. We didn't have stuff like that growing up. Today we have adults that never seem to grow out of their phase. They follow every trend faster than most kids. Different strokes for different folks.
