I was once behind a guy in line at the gas station. He had the jitters like he was hard up. He bought ten scratch offs, and just had her scan the bar code to see if he won. Never scratched the ticket. Then he did 10 more.

I won a hundred bucks once on a scratch-off ticket. With the winnings, I bough two 12-packs and a tank of gas. This was right after my ex broke up with me, she always said they were a waste of time. Later that day, I was caller number five on a radio station. I couldn't believe it! I won a four day 3 night beach vacation. To get over the ex, I went Deep sea señorita fishing down in Panama. Best part of the whole thing, I don't have to see my ex future mother-in-law anymore. She thought she could apologize when she heard about my new found luck on the radio.

I usually get scratch offs for Christmas. And every year I seem to always win a few dollars.. It seems like whether someone gives me 5 or 25, I will always get a free ticket, which I always end up forgetting about and never cash in.
If someone enjoys spending $5-$10 a week to buy some scratch offs then god bless em.
Of course, if it's someone who is spending $100 because they need to come up with some money and they are hoping they can hit it big.. But even then, it's not my business.

Bumping just to let y’all know, I bought a 25 oz bud light and a $10 scratcher. 1 won a new ticket, scratched it and won another ticket, I’m 2 beers and 2 tickets into this day
