Based on traffic, they must've all fled to Elgin and Bastrop?

Ever since Texas banned tranny pills and abortions for 12 year olds the libtards have been fleeing to more inclusive states.

According to Reddit.

Not this Louisiana transplant. I have never seen the appeal of the Republic of Austin

This happening in most liberal cities.

I think it's people that don't want to be around libs

It's funny, though, because the progressive population across the U.S. absolutely hates Texas and even Austin as a byproduct.

These are literal comments I read in a Reddit thread last night:

quote:

My best friend is doing his bachelor party there and I really wish he chose somewhere else. I know it’s the blue dot of Texas, but doesn’t seem like the time to be giving them our tourism money. I know that doesn’t matter to everyone, but the dilemma I’m currently facing with going.

quote:

I am also facing this dilemma. I don’t want to give my money to red states if I can avoid it, but I feel like the southeast is my only option due to time of year and travel costs for everyone else.

The traffic is bad enough alone to cause that. Plus the locals tell me the California immigrants are total pricks

Mass Tech Bro layoffs help. Homes for sale are still overpriced, just not quite as astronomically as in the previous 5-6 years. Normal people still can’t comfortably afford to buy a home.

The numbers I saw in another article showed net migration as -2,000. Hardly “droves”. A lot of people’s there in the pandemic and created a bubble. I see this as more of a correction of that.

People leaving Austin for the suburbs. Williamson and Hays County are still growing like crazy.

So they admit it's more cost efficient in the southeast.

What's the source of that Data Graph?

quote:

In February 2025, Austin home prices were down 0.43% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $520K. On average, homes in Austin sell after 89 days on the market compared to 82 days last year. There were 579 homes sold in February this year, down from 710 last year.
