I don't know if it is the political climate or what, but does it seem like people are wound up tighter in today's world?

Yes, and it’s for no reason since the world is better than it’s ever been.

That's what I don't get. It's a good time to be alive. Things can always be worse.. But it's like everyone is dealing with issues, but they let it bother them more.

Just more outlets, social media, mainstream media, etc to showcase it

The liberals at work are crankier than usual. Miserable to be around to be honest

With the exception of one ultra progressive at work I honestly don’t see all the angst that I read about in the news and on this board. Maybe I’m just too busy with my young family and work but people of all races and incomes at the hospital I work at seem to get along just fine.

Too many people offended and too many not taking self accountability. In other words it's the liberals fault.

Most people in this country don't know shite from Shinola when it comes to assessing the condition of the world they live in. They think their life is ruined when a new Iphone hits the market and they're stuck with the last model. It's been too long since this country had a reality check.

A lot of it is the left wing and right wing spin machines; and the True Believers running with their nonsense. And then social media spreads it instantly. Imagine if humans had telepathy and had to listen to the thoughts of everyone around them. We'd all kill each other, or ourselves. Social media is a weaker version of that.

John Prine had it right 4 decades ago:

"Blow up your t.v. throw away your paper
Go to the country, build you a home
Plant a little garden, eat a lot of peaches
Try an find jesus on your own"
