Dated a girl in HS who was on birth control. The reasoning was she was anemic and it helped control the bleeding during her "time".

It was fun.

It's basic common sense. Like making sure she gets the HPV vax.

Permission is usually irrelevant to people who mess up their lives.

Of course. We know that they are beacons of virtue and chastity. They'd never do such a thing.

I think you just have to have open conversations with her. Once you start to read between the tea leaves that's she considering sex you gotta get her on it whatever age that is.

Probably closer to 16-17 than 15 for most.

I honestly don't know WTF I'd do(no kids), I'd probably let her mom make the call on how to handle that.

I'll be in charge of how to handle any dude that potentially knocks her up, and the corresponding weapons for said situation.

ETA: while I'd trust The mom's opinion, birth control makes more sense. Although it could advocate condom-less sex... This is why I'm terrified of being a parent, especially if I have a daughter in today's day and age. A Co-worker of mine got drugged last weekend

It is an easy answer as long as it isn't your little girl.

If you keep your child busy with sports and other activities they won't have time for it. That is the strategy alot of parents use these days and it works pretty good.

A small percentage will for sure. But generally speaking, 15 year old girls aren't banging unless they're trashy. Argue it as much as you want.

I mean most girls don't want to get pregnant at 15 if that's what you mean...

I'm in the business of having grandkids late in life, not when my kid still has textbooks in lockers.

That only goes so far. If you have a popular daughter she's going to get the pressure and simply being involved in extracurricular activities is not going to prevent opportunities from happening.
