Are HS Senior Photos Still a Thing?

With almost all photos being digital these days, do kids these days still go to a photographer and get the traditional set of senior portraits?

Where I grew up, EVERYONE had these senior photo shoots and a graduation open house but that doesn’t seem to be a thing down here

luckily her grandparents stepped up and paid for them because i was going to have to deliver the message we weren't buying them.
ridiculous; but this is where everyone goes apparently and they didn't say a word about the price until we went back to view the pics.

Usually just a “party” at their house or a venue with (bad) food and childhood pictures and whatnot. It’s pretty common to go to 30+ every summer if you’re in high school or have high school aged kids. And like I said, everyone does/did this, even the poor and trashy
