Do people go to reunions alone or does that make you a loser?

Didn't go to my 10 year reunion and probably not going to my 20th either. The people that I was close to then I still am. I have no need to see some squares that will drink no because their life is shitty. I'll pass

I'm 21, so my first reunion won't be for a while.

Our 10 year was set up on Facebook (which I've never had). I found out about it two weeks before, and when I heard about the $75 fee, I bailed

I have one coming up and the cost is $70. It's at a nice venue down in the Warehouse District, open bar, and a Mexican themed buffet.

I don't care for Mexican food, and I don't drink that much anymore. So it's going to cost me 70 bucks to eat a few bites of food and have 2 or 3 beers, so I'm considering not going.

I'd go if I thought anyone I was friends with would go, but I don't think any of them will.

They are all over the country now and doubtful they care enough to pay for the trip home.

ETA:

Plus I'm still friends with a lot of them and don't need a reunion to see them. Also, I am married so hooking up with old classmates isn't a perk for me.

I'm not, so I need to take this into consideration for the 15. Have seen a few of the old brawds around town still looking good

Can't say, didn't go to my 10 or 20 year reunion. I stay in touch with the people I want to without having a stupid reunion weekend full of people I don't want to see and activities I don't want to do.

If I was single I might go to see if there are any late bloomers or sloots that need to be arse fricked in a bathroom stall.

Absofrickinglutely.

Other than a couple best friends I had in HS, my circle of friends (stood in my wedding) is 90% post HS.

You know more about yourself at that point and choose friends differently.

100% agree.

This thread made me go look at the facebook group that was made for our 10 year. Under the list of members, you can see what everyone's occupation is and where they are. That allowed me to judge them accordingly without the need to speak to them. Worked out great.
