That is next year’s agenda. This year, it’s more of a “ reconnaissance” mission.

Some are trolls and some are idiots. Sometimes they are both.

The girl who cuts my hair told me awhile back that her and her husband became friends with another couple they met through playing pool. One weekend they invited them over an after dinner, they were having a few drinks and talking and some topic came up in which the husband said "we are flat earthers".
She said the way he said it, she thought he was joking and she said something like "yeah.. how can people be so stupid?" referring to flat earthers. And that lead to a very uncomfortable conversation in which the couple got up and left. I just can't comprehend how people, at least people who don't appear to be complete morons, can truly believe the earth is flat.

No it doesn’t. Go back and actually read the Book of Job and Isiah. You’re misinterpreting what it’s actually saying
No, I read it many times and that's exactly what it says. You can't tell me what the Bible says. I can read it myself and learn what it says.
I read better than you.

Lol.. ok
If you’re referring to Revelations where it’s referenced the 4 corners of the earth it’s literally an idiom for North, South , East and West.

Try harder

Bad day
Speaking of. Since a day is one rotation of the earth. What do they think it is? One lap of the giant flashlight? Like it’s in a perpetual Indy 500?

My favorite is how no one can come up with a logical reason for science to lie about the earth being round even if it was somehow flat.

I was having fun joking about this because it is a long and running joke at my job. There is a guy at one of our other facilities that legit believes the earth is flat. He tries to use the Bible to explain and prove his theories. So a lot of have kind of dug into these theories and when a new employee joins our team we will tell them the earth is flat and give them all the reasons why. Most don't fall for it but fun to mess with them.

I'm jokingly/flippantly making the simple point that you and I both have a Bible. We both can read. We read the same Bible and it tell us two opposing viewpoints. At that point, we both point at each other and exclaim "You read it wrong. I read better than you."
And we proceed to repeat this exercise for every theological point on which you and I disagree.
It is an absurd exercise, and it stems from the notion that everybody who has a Bible is his own teaching authority - we can read it ourselves and know what it says on our own and with the help of the Holy Spirit. We don't need any other teaching authority.
In conclusion, I'm telling you what the Bible says about the "firmament", and it is very much aligned with the historically known cosmology of the Ancient Hebrews and many other peoples of ancient times.
There's nothing else to argue about here.
PS There is no logical reason for anybody to get angry over this impasse. It stems from two different analytical methodologies, not from whether one side is with God and the other side is with Satan.

No clue where I fall on this. I can tell you I've seen some not real footage.....where it was made, it wasn't on the moon.

It must be nice to be too dumb to realize how dumb you are. I'm just smart enough to understand how dumb I am and it sucks sometimes.

Do we work at the same place? Do y'all discuss bigfoot as well?

Anything the Bible or ANY ancient anything went right out the fricking window the first time we broke the stratosphere. Those people believed God lived on top of the fricking clouds, you would reach hell if you just keep digging and we're sandwiched in the middle.
