Are fast food lines much longer than in the past?

Or is it just me? Every time I want something, they are fricking packed. Bunch of fatasses making it hard to get a quick bite. And the employees seem slower too. What a mess.

Probably has to do with the shortage of people who don’t want to work for a shitty wage in a shitty fast food restaurant (sans someone like Chik-fil-a).

This is incorrect. Chick-fil-A is able to move more trips per hour through their drive thru than any other national chain.

Went to get an egg mcmuffin for someone sunday morning. Drive-thru was wrapped around the building, the four curbside pickup spots were full with cars coming/going, and there was hardly anyone inside. One guy inside that had already paid just left he was waiting so long. I waited 10 minutes and left before they took my order.
