Are EU nations trashing the AstraZeneca vaccine out of spite for BREXIT?

The data points to the British-developed AstraZeneca vaccine being every bit as safe as the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Yet some EU nations are blocking distribution of the vaccine in their borders out of “concern” for blood clots, instead favoring the American vaccines despite AstraZeneca having a more developed supply chain in that region.
Europe has already completely bombed their vaccination distribution to the point where they are still closing down restaurants and facing the possibility of a third wave. Even the elderly are still waiting for vaccines in most EU nations, which are on average far more densely populated than the US.
The US is far, far ahead thanks to Operation Warp Speed. Cases here are collapsing and most people in group homes have already been vaccinated. Most US states have moved on to vaccinating middle aged adults and vulnerable young people.
Are EU politicians and their Globalist media outlets intentionally introducing doubt into the AstraZeneca vaccine because they are still butthurt over BREXIT?

Yes

More than 32 million people in Britain will be vaccinated by April, and Boris is still threatening lock downs through the summer. Yes. This is a spiteful reaction and a government grab which isn’t going away any time soon over there.

No link, but I saw on TikTok yesterday crowds of people in London singing “stick your poison vaccine up your arse”

The shade EU countries threw at the US for our handling of COVID is fricking hilarious in retrospect. It was also funny at the time, just even more so now.

You don’t see that since December or so.
And the US media was far worse than the EU was on American efforts to deal with Covid, depending on the party of the person involved of course.

Or you know, it's causing blood clots.

Based off the rates of blood clots in those who received the AZ vaccine and people who just get blood clots in general, you could argue the AZ vaccine is actually protective.

It's interesting, for sure. I wouldn't put it past the EU to be covering up for their own ineptitude and trying to pass the blame on to someone else. The US is still higher than the EU in deaths per capita, but the final tally might be different as we've jumped out to a major lead on vaccinations and should have most of our vulnerable population vaccinated in the very short term future. The EU, on the other hand, is still fumbling around trying to get vaccines out and has essentially shot themselves in the foot by suspending their only readily available vaccine because of alleged blood clotting issues that are less than you'd find in the general population.

Collapsing? Cases in the US are increasing. About two weeks ago they bottomed out and have been rapidly increasing since.
[Actually, I’m wrong. Just looked at Worldometer and the US is flat. I think I must have looked at the World data instead of the US]
In all likelihood, these new cases will produce few serious illnesses because the most vulnerable have been vaccinated.
Oh, and the answer to your question is YES, the EU are definitely butthurt, and they are intentionally sacrificing their people to get at the hated Brexiters.

Yet there's a large population of people here in the US that think Europe is a utopia and we should model our country after it.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you were a medical regulator from one of these European countries.

More people in the general population get clots than those who get the vaccine.
It's like blaming car accidents on the vaccine because they happened after the driver got his shot.

Except for, ya know, any evidence whatsoever that it is.

Government would never d anything bad to its constituents over something petty like that.

Nope. Even in the US, they'd never shut down vast portions of the economy to inflict pain on constituents during an election year. Or encourage rioters and feral journalists to take over your hometown.
