Dogs are a responsibility, can't do nothing for people, make messes in yard, don't talk, I gotta pay for dog lodge for vacas, and they tear up stuff. I choose people over any dog for a friend.

I’ve never had any human friend purposely flip their plate of food over on my porch everyday. Or bring a newspaper to the porch then tear it up all over the place. Outside dogs are assholes.

Thing is, some people get all human with dogs, but mine will devour endless fresh cat shite.

I love dogs. They are awesome.
But the people who say they are better friends than humans think that because they are selfish and probably crappy friends themselves.
Dogs are easy to love. Human friendship takes compromise and tolerance. Some people want everything their own way.

Some people need a greater perspective on what a dog is and isn’t.
A dog can be a good facsimile of a friend, but it’s no substitute for a friend. A friend is your equal, not your pet.
