Spin-off from the wedding picture thing. Are "dog people" weird? Specifically the ones that say it’s their baby, have stickers on the back of their car, have them wherever they go etc.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other. As long as their "baby" isn't a pitbull trying to rip my throat out, I'm good.

Let me guess, you’re a cat person?

Absolutely. I don’t get the dog worship shite and this is coming from someone who has always had a dog and taken good care of them. At the end of the day it’s still my pet though, it’s not a child.

We take our dog where we can.

Really the only time we leave her is if we go to a restaurant or store.

I feel bad leaving her cooped up in an apartment with nothing to do. It's easy enough to bring her outside, she jumps in the car and rides with.

Wife worked in a pet friendly office so the dog went to work everyday. Now my wife is WFH so the dog is rarely without us.

What's weirder to me is the people who get so upset at where other people bring their pets.

Those people?

Their dog is a surrogate child.

One of the problems with modern life is that (middle and upper class) women either aren’t having children, or they’re having them much later in life.

Dogs are presumably a way to fill the void they feel. It’s certainly understandable, but it’s not a solution.

I would rather be around my dogs than most people, if that makes me weird than I guess I am weird.

WFH means Work From Home.

A dog has never lied to me.

A dog has never stolen from me.

I've never had to try to figure out what a dog's ulterior motive is.

The only bad thing about them is they don't live long enough.

Dogs are awesome. I just sat down after work and my rott jumped on our couch and plopped his big head on my lap. Freaking love that dude.

Dogs are better than people that don't mind their own business.

It’s not their baby. It’s a furry animal that stinks, shits, and pisses. Sometimes all three happen inside your home where people are meant to live.

Pshhh

No neat bourbon pour or cookies are safe if my dog is around.

He likes to get shite-faced, and he loves cookies.

You’re actually worse then OweO. That’s saying a lot.

And it’s not cause I disagree with you. It’s cause this is just another unoriginal, shite post.
