All cigars are manly AF.
Trashy or Classy? Depends on the cigar.
Exhibit A:

Office workers trying to emanate an air of rugged manliness by sitting on their patio and sucking on something that resembles a black penis

Cigars smell like shite and there is nothing worse than some douche stinking up the surrounding area trying to act like some kind of big shot smoking a cigar.

The only reason to ever have a cigar is to roll weed. Any other reason is trash trying to pose as classy.

I wouldn't say that cigars are manly. Alternatively, I certainly wouldn't say they are trashy as well.

Vices are accepted, or even lauded, when enjoyed by the aristocracy alone. Once the vice becomes popular with the peasants, the aristocracy shuns it. Behaviors linked primarily or exclusively to the peasantry are considered beneath the aristocracy, and therefore low class.
Apply the above to a particular place and time and you can accurately judge the “trashiness” of everything from using spices in food to contracting syphilis.

I smoke cigars..... but this question has never entered my mind.
What others think about it doesn't matter.

As opposed to what?
Is using a cigar to roll weed blatantly admitting you're trashy instead of trying to pose?

Depends on which fruit flavor you smoke.

I smoke a few a week.
I don't feel manly at all while doing it

Gender and orientation of the observer has nothing to do with it, it's irrelevant. He's an easy test to figure out if the cigar is trashy or not:
Did they remove the tobacco interior and replace it with high quality cannabis? If you'd be happy smoking that cannabis in a bong, then the weed might not be shitty, and thus the Cigar can be evaluated for its manliness. If it's shitty weed, then you don't smoke it anyway as it would be a mockery of male virtue. Bottom Line: As the long ganja is smokeable, you're fine, puff away.

Not really much of a smoker, but I definitely enjoy a good cigar every now and then.

Quit cigars when they went to minimum of $10 for a 1st class smoke. Went to pipes. Now maybe 30 cents for a great smoke with excellent tobaccos.

My humidor right now has among other cigars a 94 rated sampler of 10 different cigars that I bought for $37.95
It’s the reason I started smoking cigars. You can enjoy some of the finest sticks in the world, without being wealthy. I can’t think of a single other thing that you can say that about.

My dad is in his 70s and smokes a pipe. I remember when I was a kid he'd be cutting the grass and smoking his pipe at the same time.

My favorite pipe tobacco is D&R's Three Sails. A smooth Virgina with o additives or preservatives, and a pound is about $20 - about 6 cents a smoke. The fancy tins are a lot more, but still affordable.
