My Albertsons has a huge lady with a mustache for a butcher. She's def alpha.

I find that certain, smaller, mom and pop grocery stores (esp ones out around the River) often have much better steaks than the chains and esp Walmart

Still prefer the meat market but there's times when it's closed and I'm wanting a steak and didn't think to buy before 5pm or before Sunday or too lazy to drive to town.

Butchers who own their own shops are alpha

I'll be doing looking around Metarie since that's where I'll be this weekend.

I don't buy from Albertsons or Wally World. You're right about those steaks

Hell, I do from a local Mom and Pop store. They have the best. Steaks melt in your mouth. Custom cut them too!

One of my brothers is a butcher. Fixing to retire. Makes bank. As for as alpha male in a store, hell if know.

In a regular chain grocery store I would guess the alpha male is usually the assistant store manager. the store manager being the alpha-retired. Sorta like the assistant principle being the tough one at school. But the butchers would be just below him. worked in a grocery store in my younger years..

My grocery store has an older black man that is quite fast and cutting meat.

Does good work. I appreciate that man for the quality cuts he provides me with

I would think the store manager is the alpha, being they run the place.

Being the alpha at a grocery store is still very beta compared to everyone else.
