Do you think the media is involved in making people think circumcision should be required?

A good buddy of mine is first generation off the boat from Italy, born in America.. his parents elected to not have him circumcised as a baby... Fast forward years later, he felt ‘different’ or like the OT is fond of saying, like a ‘weirdo’... So he decides, at 25 years old, to go ahead and get chopped... He now says it’s the worst mistake he ever made; told me the procedure itself, and the recovery, weren’t that bad- but he says that getting busy with girls now, while still fun, isn’t NEARLY as pleasurable as it used to be.. when you remove all those nerve endings, you become desensitized and it detracts from the overall experience.

So take it for what it’s worth.. i’ve been cut since i was a baby, so i dont know any different.. but my friend has a pretty unique perspective since he’s been sexually active both before and after circumcision, and now deeply regrets having it done.

I dont have children but i personally think it’s barbaric to do that to a kid, simply so they’ll ‘look like dad’ or because of crappy religious practices that began in the dark ages.
