It's VERY much like the Rittenhouse case in that 3 men tried to detain a person they thought was a criminal.
5 of those men have been permanently removed from society. 1 has to tickle his pickle lefthanded now.
Justice was served in both cases.

This trial only came about because the video was leaked. The local police and DA sat in it for almost 3 months. So yes, the justice system is still broken.

Verdict aside, it took some pretty extreme measures and house cleaning to even get this to trial. There were multiple cover ups locally between law enforcement and legal.
This doesn’t get videotaped and leaked and we never even hear about it.
The courts finally getting it right doesn’t necessarily mean the system is just or that it doesn’t need reform.
