Fellow OTers that work outside. Looking for some dri-fit or something similar. Need your input.

Requirements:
-looking at polos, long sleeve, and short sleeve
-cool/moisture wicking
-stain resistant
-pinch or grab or whatever resistant…don’t want after one wash or work day they have threads pulling everywhere
-smell resistant.

TIA

Based on your clothing selections, you “work” outside, but you don’t actually work outside.

Cotton/polyester blend or most clothes will work fine. Dress shirts don't hold up tho

Define outside work. Many peoples definition of apparel for outside work involves fire retardant, long sleeve shirts, and pants.

Amazes me that my gardener is out there all day in jeans and a long sleeve shirt and only takes a short water break every couple hours

Old pair of jeans, high Ankle socks underneath and worn out old UGA shirts. If it’s cold, I have a couple really old beat up sweatshirts with holes in the them. Most of these items have plenty of paint/stain on them.

I mow and edge in old gym shorts and high ankle socks with old tennis shoes…but if I’m weeding or planting, it’s back to jeans and shirt

I bought these on Amazon and love them! They breathe and are water proof.

If you’re worried about getting it dirty or damaged, just go to Walmart, target, or academy and get their cheap store brand athletic wear. It would be dumb to buy a $150 orvis vest with the intention of ruining it
