So I could sell it and just to do things the legal way so I don't get thrown under the bus. It's at a house in Texas and their laws are WAY different regarding repos and property left behind. In LA the bank can pretty much do what they want with it once the house has been foreclosed but in TX the laws protect the home owners a lot more even after foreclosure. I already have had a conversation about it with the Constable for the area it's in and he told me what I would need to do. He was a dick too so I am not risking it. I think he wants it for himself.
Sabi, I am not OT balling. I am a tight arse actually and think I should have been born Jewish.

but seriously why put money down on something that will depreciate?
Bc it's fun. I understand if you got kids and a wife and a mortgage, but some people don't. And it's silly to say you are dumb driving a $60,000 vehicle.
I know some people that have cheap cars but spend $10k a year on vacations. Are they dumb for blowing that cash on 2 weeks with only memories to show?
No. I love my car and go for drives as a stress relief.

Most ATV's need to be titled. I had a title on my motocross bike. Some states make you pay property tax (ad valorem) on "registered vehicles" and these are included.

I bought a new vehicle optioned very nicely and the note is 950 a month.
Holy frick.
I drive a brand new vehicle with that has tons of options for a hell of lot less than that, and I just got out of school too.

At that point, you didn't have leverage. Plus, you had really no idea how the BS works. Next time, you'll have super credit and you'll know a lot more.
Lotta truth here. It's expensive but it won't break me. I won't own it for the life of the note but I'll have equity in it when I get rid of it. As long as I quit modifying the dadgum thing.

Then we probably drive different vehicles.

ATVs don't have to be registered in Louisiana

Well most likely. I'm going to take a guess you drive a f-250 or f-350 4x4 lariat or better

Out of curiosity, what you rolling with?

Ain't nothing free. If they'll give you a zero interest rate on one price, they'll give you an even lower price on a cash deal. Cash is the mother fricking king. Period. The. End.
I said relatively free. They're charging you a nominal sum to allow you to utilize decent chunks of capital elsewhere. Even if you could end up with a $40k cash car and a $43k financed car, the likelihood of you not making hat $3k over he life of the loan is slim, unless you're an imbecile.

One of my inspectors had to go to a house the other day for a bank because the people were late on their house note and not answering phone calls.
They had a brand new Lexus and two newer BMWs out front of their $50K PoS house that they couldn't even pay the notes on.
$150K+ in vehicles they might be sleeping in soon.

My 2013 crew cab silverado is fully paid off. That's a nice thing to have.

I pay $297 a month for the wife's car. Mine's been paid off for years and I don't intend on getting a new car anytime soon.

I'm 28, on my 4th vehicle, and have never had a car note in my life.
It boggles my mind that in addition to other regular bills (mainly rent/mortgage), people will spend $500+ a month on a fricking car note.
