I had a neighbor that was attacked by a German Shepard. When the dog started to bite him he made a fist like he was going to punch the dog. When the dog opened his mouth to bite his fist he ran his hand down the dogs throat holding onto the back of the dogs tongue. He was not even bit only scratched by the dogs claws.

To hell with that fluffy little bitch.

I'd catch it on it's wait out of it's weekly trip to the hair groomers and it'd be done.

Yup

We had a german shepherd who would get to playing and after a while it would get old as she didn't know when to stop. Keep trying to chew on you and just put your arm or fist as deep in their mouth as you can. They start gagging and give a big wtf?

I absolutely could. There s no domesticated dog that could take me out IF I saw it coming. Wolves, that's a grey area. I had this discussion with my buddies not too long ago, but it was..... what's the largest cat you could kill\ fend off in the wild. Ftr, no oe wantedto frick with a jaguar.

I might get hurt, but i would def kill the frick out of a dog. If you want to see a fight, let a dog come around my coonhound while she's eating.

Your buddy is probably right, but unless he's really good, he will take some serious damage getting it done.

My pit weighed in at 92 pounds at one vet appointment. I could take him if I had to, but it would have cost me.

He did remove the pinky finger of a thief that had mistakenly broken into my shop when I was at work one day. Cops wanted him put down, but I fought them. He was doing his job, on his property.

I think a moderately in shape and healthy male could kill a pit bull without weapons if he had time to anticipate the attack and formulate his response and was willing to take the potentially serious injury that would accompany it.

In sum, I think you're both wrong. A pit that wants to kill a grown man is rarely successful. A black bear that wants to harm a grown man is rarely successful in causing serious injury or death. If you fight, you'll probably win, but at some cost to yourself.

All this right here?

That's the answer.

Yeah that's the kicker. I think if i had time to anticipate it I should be able to take down most dogs. Now if they caught me buy surprised and latched onto my throat first that is a different story.

I'd shove my fist down his throat and choke him.
