You'd get bit, but if you could get your hands on its throat and use your weight, I think a grown man would win every time. And if the opportunity offered itself, you could pick it up and slam it into things...they may be relentless, but they only have one weapon, and we out weight them significantly.

The worst thing you could do is play defense...
