anyone see the inteview with the doctor who attacked the uber driving on GMA?

good stuff. the disintegration of the female mind on alcohol is truly a mysterious thing.
she's basically lost her job as a doctor and GMA showed 'cute' photos in the background during the interview of her playing a guitar, walking a dog, smiling with her co-workers at the hospital..
i am really surprised to find out this woman was a doctor but i haven't followed the thread on here either.
i'm also really surprised how insincere her apology was. woman you need to go on national TV and tell everyone you're checking yourself into an alcohol abuse facility and that after seeing this, you realize you have no business having another drink the rest of your life.

Who would she want to bring national attention to herself in this situation? Doesn't seem like the smartest move. Before (and maybe still) she could have moved across the country and no one would have been the wiser, really.

Similar to the Executive who tried to beat the shite out of his Uber driver while on camera. The best thing is to try to disappear.

Exactly. Any ounce of empathy I may have felt for her went out the window when I realized she's an idiot. And going on GMA also means she's an attention whore.
Unless...this is her grand plan to become the neurologist for the Dr. Phil show. And she'll have a sob story to use as well. In that case, brilliant.

Not taking up for her at all but if she were black, this would have never made the news. But because she isn't black and she is a doctor it took off like a rocket.
Bottomline, everyone has a camera and you need to watch your actions in public.

I dated a Hospitalist Dr. for a couple of years. Worked in the ER some. She could put away the wine/drink and get loopy for sure...
