Maybe you should read upon 504 area code BECAUSE it was the area code for the Northshore for a very very long time. Longer than 985

Area code knowledge slam.

Heading back at 3 should be good as well.

I pick my daughter up from school in downtown Covington at 3:15pm and it takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get to Mandeville. I'm pretty sure it only gets worse after that. I would definitely leave the northshore at or before 3:00 if you can. The most congested area is from downtown Covington to 12

Heading home to Nola after working in God’s country would be very depressing. Stay south of the lake and you’ll never know what you’re missing baw.

He’s single. North shore v New Orleans is a no brainer. Get real.

I do it and it doesn't bother me. I listen to audiobooks and the traffic isn't nearly as stressful as the other direction.

I drive into the city for 6am 3-4 days a week, that is almost always an easy drive as long as it isn't one of the few fog/freezing days.

Going home isn't bad but does take longer. If you have to go towards Madisonville or past Mandeville on the north shore it will be a shitty drive home.

I did Hammond to Metairie via the causeway for years. The opposite direction of rush hour always seemed pretty easy going.
