Check out the Honda Pilot. My wife has a 2015. It's a great SUV and is roomier than it looks on the outside.

I used the Will Cover car buying method and ended up getting it for 40k out the door.

In the process I walked out of two dealerships and got a sales manager fired.

I'll have to see where I advised in my negotiating tips on how to get a sales manager fired.

The 2016 honda pilots are coming out soon. They look great compared to the older models.

The 4Runner is like driving a truck but they have had a better track than any other SUV over the last 15 years from a reliability standpoint.

"like a tank" is a an exaggeration but no doubt you give up some ride quality with a body on frame but it's worth the compromise if not for safety alone. The current generation Pathfinder chassis is from a modified Altima.

Just depends on what you what.

If you haven't already done so, take it to a mechanic and have them check out the radiator to make sure fluid isn't leaking into the transmission. Mine had complete transmission failure at 61,000 miles because of a defect in most, if not all of the 05 Pathfinders

We went earlier to briefly look at the Pathfinder and Explorer. They are very similar. Didn't have a chance to drive one yet, but will soon. We are also going to try out the Highlander and Pilot.

What this guy said. I was looking a year ago, and they were having problems with the transmissions. Nissan wasn't helping at the time. Good luck.

Bought one in January. We absolutely love it.
Great ride, great gas mileage, and very roomy. We have used the third row seat a few times and it's not bad to get into.

I didn't used the will cover method but we underpaid for sure.

We have a 13. Love it so far. Gets about 21 on hey and 18 in city. Plenty of room for the two of us and our 1 child.

I lease them so we get a new every few years. They've tweaked improvements with every model. Really solid vehicle that rides more like a car than an SUV

Unless your heart is set on a Pathfinder, I'd get an Acadia. Much more room. Easy to get to the third row with captains chairs.
