Saw it on The Profit. Marcus really loves that venture. Anyone tried their candy?

I don’t know what I’m supposed to say here. I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I shouldn’t have posted in this thread.

Sweet Pete delivers his candy in a van with no windows in the back.

ummm no, Marcus showed his arse as a liberal idiot calling on every trump voter to not do business with any of his companies because he doesnt want to do business with racists

so he can got frick himself and i will gladly never watch his show or buy anything from any company i know he has any part of.

he is just a parasite anyway, his "shtick" is stealing away control from hard working people whos business fell on hard times. he takes advantage of them and greatly under pays for taking controlling interest in those companies and then those family owned, family run businesses are forever turned into cookie cutter sterile generic businesses.

While I don't agree with his politics (this is a great way to alienate 50 % of your customer / potential customer base - and should have never been discussed by him), the money that he often puts up helps keep those businesses afloat.

Many are only days or months away from closing. Bad management, horrible leadership, terrible decision making, no efficient processes in place, etc. are the reason people like Marcus have an opportunity to come in and take control of the business. If you're looking for fault, look no further than the founder for each business.

I watch the show. Usually the business is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt if not more. Owners are floundering and don't know what to do.

The furniture store one in Miami was a pretty good episode. You could tell he enjoyed helping those people.

Sweet Pete was getting screwed by a partner who thought that because he invested two grand, he owned the whole damn business. Dude and his wife got rescued, bigger building, more equipment, sales had huge increase. Yeah, that's bad.
