Millsaps doesn't attract many of the same kind of students it did in it's heyday, which was a long long time ago. It's become extremely liberal and the women I've met that went there were either lipstick lesbians or into black guys only, which is strange for anywhere in the deep south. This was many years ago as well. Belhaven, which is in the adjacent neighborhood used to be known for it's female soccer players.

Honest question, when was its heyday ? Dad went there in late 60’s early 70’s. Just curious.

That was definitely a better time for the school. I had an uncle that went there in early 60's.

Yea I remember when those videos came out. She didn't go here. Pretty sure she went to Belhaven and got the sweatshirt from some dude or dudes she was fricking at Millsaps.

I attended a US News top ten liberal arts college. It was a great education and there is something to be said academically for small class sizes and a low teacher to student ratio. I went on to get my graduate degree at LSU, and that way I was able to get the best of both worlds -- small college and large SEC university experiences. I recommend that academic path, if you can do it.

The problem with liberal arts colleges is that they tend to be in the middle of nowhere, and the best ones tend to be in frigid New England. There are a couple of good ones in the South, but Millsaps is not one of them.
