I don’t curse around my wife or family and try hard not curse around friends. I talk like a sailor on here though

it is very hard, its gotten so common place and the norm that i find it unnoticeable im even doing it even when im aware i shouldnt but then i hear the words i just said and feel embarrassed even thought the kids or whoever probably talks worse then i do.

when you work in and around construction site atmosphere everyone curses as a norm

I gave up on trying but try not to around my kids. When she was about 2-3 one of my daughters spilled her milk at the table and looked at her mom and said "Ahh shite"

I've tried to watch my mouth around them after that.

I don't use the word "cuss" if that is what you are asking.

I try not to say “frick” around my daughter, other than that, I don’t really care. I agree it is trashy. Even trashier coming out of a woman’s mouth for some reason

Same here. I caught my son trying to repeat "ah shite" after hearing me say it.

I had my 2 year old daughter repeat a string of swear words back to me after a car cut us off. That was my cue to get my shi...stuff together.

Spending most of my life on tug boats and in the oilfield i cuss. There is a time and a place for every thing though. One thing I have never done and do not condone is using Gods name in vein. Seems folks could be more inventive and not sue the same tired ole F all the time though.
