I did. Known my wife since she first showed up at A&M 9 years ago this month. Started dating a little over a year later. Just had our 5 year wedding anniversary this past June.
Didn't plan it that way. Just happened. I had every intention of playing the field when I went to college, but I know a quality girl when she lands in my lap (pun not intended
). Just got lucky, is all. Wouldn't recommend it to others, but every relationship is different, and I'm very glad with the way mine turned out.

so say you're a young stupid christian young man. living in a fairly repressed Baptist home. you find a girl. you love her. you want to bang her.
so you put a ring on it.
you have this illustrious view of sex as wild, all the time, every day porn sex. but because you're baptist, you don't really talk about expectations. at least not honestly.
get to honeymoon and have sex. greatest 2 minutes of my life up to that point. then have more sex throughout honeymoon. yah! gave her an orgasm... i think. no worries, just enjoying time together.
then you get home. and sex doesn't happen every day. real life happens. headaches, tired, periods, not in the mood, whatever. kids come and your cockblocked for a few months (my wife had to go to the ER for morning sickness with both our kids.) in the middle of this, it's not like it's not happening ever... usually just once a month. but remember that you came in with expectations and they're not being met.
so... like a 24 YO idiot, i don't talk to her about it, i just brood and hold it against her.
it took a rough year of our marriage to get through that part there and almost ended our marriage. counseling and a lot of trying on both of our parts has made this much better. some months it 1-3 times a month. this week has been 4 times. i don't think i did anything different.
that being said, i do not regret waiting at all and am glad we both did. however, i will have some conversations with my boys that my dad never did about how to walk into a sexual relationship (hopefully with just their wife) so they don't experience the pain our marriage did.
and as a side note, no judgment for anybody who didn't wait, that was just the path for me.

You are probably awful at sex and have a small weiner, but its OK because it sounds like your wife will not spread the word about your tiny pecker, because of religious beliefs.
