Just got a 10:30 update.

How bad is hurricane season going to be if a 5 min shower knocks out power long enough to clean out the fridge

You might want to invest in a generator, baw. Been running mine since 4.

The dentist had to cancel on me earlier because they were out of power on Sherwood. They got smacked pretty good for a few minutes

It was real quick though it blew right through

transmission line appears to be down behind Willow Glenn Dr where it turns into Ridgley Dr...this feeds from across I-10 to the substation on Jefferson Hwy close to Floynell Dr...
trucks are back there working it now...

affecrts Jefferson Terrace, Inniswold Estates and Westminister...

Thank god bc the alarm set for work so I’m sitting in my broken ac car trying to g to charge the damn phone.

I only saw one truck on Jefferson and two guys walking around haphazardly with flashlights

Well it doesn’t help that according to them they didn’t start investigating until 2 hours later. I guess the sun was just too bright.

With what farad said I bet it isn’t on by 10:30

If I had the money for one I’d have probably already fixed my car ac.

Again.

Being horse poor is no joke.

There are about ten trucks on East Groner in the back where the lines cut across into Jefferson Terrace . My neighbor said a transmission line is down and an Entergy guy told home to get used to it- that it may be a day or two. I have no idea if that is true or not, just restating what I was told. There are a few other spots in JT with trucks but that’s the main spot .

Everybody sweat it out. Good for the pores.

I'd say go drink it out at The J, but it sounds like they're affected too.

That has been my experience living back here. If its not back on within an hour, it's going to be 2-3 days.

Shoutout to mosquito control for choosing tonight while we all sit in our 90 degree homes with the windows open to spray the Frick out of us. Now I can enjoy the delightfully minty flavor of mosquito spray from my very own bed.
