You say this shite, then follow it with “it’s a shame people won’t get the vaccine because there is so much misinformation out there.”
I beleive any and all covid restrictions were horseshite.
I also beleive people should get the vaccine
I don’t see those as conflicting viewpoints
And I see you are backing off “I know nurses who were told to get the vaccine or they are fired” line

What’s the point of this? So you can get another lockdown eventually?

Playing both sides of the fence. “Lockdowns are bad”, also “wear ya damn mask”.

You see poorly. I was told what I was told, why would I be “backing off”. Or is this you telling me what I don’t know again?

Hospital policy and making implications this fall are not the same. Just like “we can’t ask you if you had a vaccine” followed by “if you haven’t been vaccinated, you will terminated if you don’t wear a mask.” Semantics but it all means the same thing.(the 2nd statement is not necessarily a hospital policy)
As an RN practicing in a Louisiana hospital, I can tell you that there have been no implications made by my hospital that those who choose not to take the vaccine will be penalized for not taking the vaccine. Many of the administrators have opted out of taking it. What you are saying is just not true at this time.

Lcmc also doesn't mandate it, so that is the entire new Orleans metro area.

You are completely lost here my friend. There should be ZERO covid rules or restrictions. ZERO
also, I beleive the vaccine is something you should take. Not something you should be forced to, but something that you should chose to
There is zero conflicting logic there, and there is no “playing both sides of the fence”

How is it fake? Are you saying it doesn’t work or it’s pretending to be something it isn’t?

Why? Serious question. If one has already had China flu, why must they get a vaccine?

I think if you already had covid you very likely don’t need the vaccine at all. I still don’t think it would hurt, but I don’t see it being a priority at all either

I think he just wanted to say China Flu so everyone could lulz

Because like many virus, mutations and multiple strains exist and antibodies to one doesn't define perfect immunity to all.
As long as the vaccine covers multiple strains, than the argument can and should be made to get it. Now if it doesn't, than that's a valid argument to not.
Each year, the most prevalent flu strain is isolated and that's what the vaccine targets. The following year it changes and a different batch is created. You wouldn't take past years vaccine for this year, it may end up being the same case for covid.

I have, on this subject, but I still stick by what I was told. Not diverting. You can disagree all you want. I’m not backing down, just acknowledging that you aren’t going to believe what I said on the matter.

Maybe you can help convince me then. If I have the antibodies already from having the virus, will a vaccine make them
more affective?
Less affective?
No change at all?
Or you don’t know?

Ironic since the common flu completely evaporated in 2020.

Why is it a news article she died? Sad situation, but was the news less than subtly pointing out she died without the vaccine? Or are all deaths news now?
Because she is young and apparently died from Covid. This goes against conventional wisdom that it’s only an old persons disease and the virus is certainly still around (and always will be imo) thus it’s newsworthy. It seems like you’d know that though

Which is interesting for 2 reasons:
When I take care of flu positive patients, they're put on droplet precautions and everyone who enters the room has to wear a flu mask. So if majority of people did wear mask, did that ultimately reduce transmission?
The other is that influenza is a seasonal virus that tends to appear more often in the colder months, travels and their pattern/spread can be traced from country to country by epidemiologist. With countries reducing travel, did that limit spread as well?
Curious to see how that pans out over the next year or so.
Because major hospitals in the Nola area swabbed and checked for both flu and covid so it's not like we didn't look for it.

Because there are a shitload of Facebook post from her friends and family very sad and confused about her sudden death.
All these post are being shared.
The Advocate picked up on it and are reporting on it.
I didn’t see anywhere in that article that suggested she wasn’t vaccinated
Posted on 7/11/21 at 10:20 pm to The Spleen
She should have followed Trumps lead: Received the vaccine back in January
