I hope all the people you have done talked to are as well informed about the actual virus and the vaccine as I am and you’re able to make an actual informed decision. I honestly could care less if you get it or not.

Outside of being purely TDS who wasn’t a little concerned with mRNA during summer of 2020 since it had not been used in vaccine outside of testing and really much of anything approved for public before Wuhan vaccine came out.

Even if it had been through June 2021 her death should not be celebrated like twits are doing, but 2 tweets from July 2020 is just stupid & hypocritical coming from people who didn’t want vaccine just because of Trump before election and then became nazis about forcing it only because Biden is President.

Where are these nurses? I can say with 100% certainty that neither of the two major hospital systems in Lafayette have required any employees to be vaccinated.

I keep seeing it mentioned that she was 30 in this thread, she was 24. My wife worked with her and has pretty upset about it, from what she says she was a smart girl and was working as an RN while trying to get into med school. It’s been a pretty rough weekend for that facility as another of their younger RNs passed from cancer this weekend as well.

Hey pride, just got a reply from a friend who interviewed for a job at AGH. She told me that the first thing that they told her was that ALL NEW HJRES were required to take the vaccine.
Know anything about that?
(This is a different person than the one who said she was told to take it quit skcshe opted to retire).

I promise you they arent required to take the vaccine point blank. That would be against the law here in louisiana, as like I said, this has already been hashed out with other vaccines way before covid
All our new hires are required to take a host of vaccines after a blood test is performed

wear a mask

I'm not affected by what this facility does but am curious as to what I've been told. I'm going to specifically ask if the potential new hire was told that a mask was an option. She didn't mention it .. yes, I'm just being nosey.

I’m very sorry this young nurse died,but I think she was wrong for tweeting anti-vax propaganda.I’m a retired RN and have not taken the Covid vaccinations due to my reservations about the mRNA technology,emergency authorization,etc.I may take it in years to come if no long term side effects show up.
But I never speak out about it to anyone unless I am asked and then I explain my reservations.I am aware of the possibility the vaccinations are perfectly safe and my reluctance is overblown.
Ultimately,I think it is up to the individual to decide for themselves.My blind sil wanted it so I took her to get her shot.My wife took the Pfizer vaccinations and I didn’t say a word.Likewise,she is ok with my decision not to take it.
