Ty antique. It seems to be made from wood of some sort. Has a tiny split on the underside that makes me think that.

I have seen about 2-3 of these before. They pop up every once in a while. The owner of co-op bookstore had one on display in his store. Probably from the 60's. Very cool. If you ever consider selling, let me know.
