Ever since becoming a parent I can’t deal with harm to kids without getting worked up, like in a movie or anything.

I can confirm this. My 11yo is autistic and it’s crazy how much water attracts his attention. Scary really!

This is what originally drew me to this story. My son’s GF has a five yo that is autistic, and he loves water…

We have friends with an 18 year old autistic son. The kid loves the ocean. The mom pretty much told us he had to be in the water everyday.

“What’s his user name”

A 4 year old child comes up missing in a swamp is presumed to be dead and somehow that’s comical to you?

The Boat and his 8 fans are disgusting A-holes

hoping this story is made up BS by the mom and the kid was never there. Otherwise I don't see a way this ends well.

I have no knowledge of this case at all but this would be a good time to ask parents to please make sure their kids can swim.

A four year old should be comfortable getting where they can’t touch and swim twenty yards to get out of the water.

Just take kids swimming a lot and play with them in the water and they will figure it out.

Don’t worry about teaching form and speed until they love the water and are a little older.

I assume it’s the stimulation? Wife (no pics) works with autistic kids and some of the stuff I hear is fascinating. They aren’t all little shitheads like the stereotype goes.

Trying to decided is "Westbank Noisey Neighbors" is a joke combining "noisy" and "nosey," or if it's just plain old illiteracy.
