First I'm going to need to see an ID to make sure you're 21 because this reads like a drunk post.

Sounds like your mind is made up. Give it a try and see if you last a month.

The famous, “let me go get my manager” line is my favorite. I’m sure he’s a very stand up guy

Really, I just have to get out of my current situation. I am in a good job that utilizes my degree, but am underpaid and work for a woman who is not all there mentally.. it is miserable.

After applying to other places for the past 6months to a year, I'm willing to do anything for the next while

I own a small business that does some vendor work at some dealerships. Those salespeople put in a hall of a lot of hours for decent money but little stability.

So you want to move from a salaried job that you probably never stay a minute after 5 to a commissioned job where you're going to have to work 60 hours a week to make any money? Godspeed.

Seriously, I'm not trying to be a dick, but you sure you really want to do that? If you do, go for it, but I'd think long and hard about it.

So what you're saying is that you know only the top salesman at multiple dealerships, right? Because there's a high turnover rate to this line of work and it isn't because those baws are raking in the dough.

And yeah, 80 hours a week. 40 of those every Saturday. frick that.

Just know that car salesmen rank somewhere between lawyers and child molesters on the social/likeabilty scale.

I don't necessarily love the tradeoff from easy desk job with normal hours, to long hours. But, my situation in my department is toxic and nothing is going to change anytime soon. Also, underpaid is an understatement

Got to be some other reasonable option out there.

It's a filthy business to be in.
