Thinking about jumping into car sales at the local Toyota dealership. Pros/cons from experienced sales folk?

Well obviously. If you had a college degree you wouldn't want to work 60 hours a week for 45k selling cars.

Just kidding baw, except about selling cars being a shitty job part.

Are you a rat frick who has no shame and is willing to frick people over, waste their time, and lie constantly?

If you answered yes to the above, you're perfect for the job.

People can shop for cars online now. All a car salesman does these days is call people 5x a day bugging them about when they are gonna buy that car they looked at. You're not selling anything, you're just there to do the paperwork.

Yeah, the owner.

If you like working 12-14 hour days, 60-80 hour weeks, every Saturday, and most holidays to make a living then go for it.

I'm very skeptical that a manager openly discusses hos employees compensation, unless he's a bigger scumbag than most other car salesmen.
