BS in healthcare administration

Ok job if you can sleep at night knowing you are screwing patients and if you are good at under the table fraudulent insurance billing practices. They all do it.

There's actually a demand for therapist now, starting pay is much better now...

Obviously the more experienced the better pay...

You wont be dealing with the doctors much.

Get a job somewhere in administration of home health or hospice.

I have a B.S. in radiology technologist

School is not hard. It’s just a lot of stuff you never heard of. Kinda like learning a new language.

You do clinicals and class work in school.

My coworkers are awesome and we work hand in hand with all depts. of the hospital. I’m under a doctor. They tell me what to do and I do it unless. I know of a better way to get what they need then I will consult with them.

I make $30/hr. And take call 1 week a month. Which is extra money. It’s not a lot of money but it’s an easy job and for where I live. It’s a really good living.

Think I'd rather shoot myself than work in administration. I'd rather do hands on work personally.

Best piece of advice I could give.

OP, you're going to learn a whole new word system basically.

Vascular ultrasound techs are in high demand right now. You can make your own hours and pretty much request whatever pay you want.

Allied health is a broad term. PT/OT, PTA/COTA, rad tech? Most admins I know have an MBA with a lot of experience and connections or have a solid healthcare background (RN or PT) with an MBA. To put it another way, a guy with a bachelors in healthcare administration starts out running the front desk of a clinic.
