The story of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is one of the most unrealistic and therefore potentially damaging in all of children's literature. It gives them a horribly distorted view of reality.

First the other reindeer tease and then ostracise him. And then when his abnormality proves of service, they use him. But then do they allow him to play in their stupid reindeer games? No!

In fact, not only do Donner, Blitzen, et al, not love him and laugh out loud with glee, but they doubly dispise the bulbous-nosed little wimp.

Don’t forget about his little gay elf buddy.

No way I’m letting kids watch that trash.

It's almost 2019, have they not found anything racist or sexist with this movie yet? Wouldn't surprise me if so.

News website HuffPost called out Christmas TV classic "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" as being "seriously problematic," claiming that the treatment of Rudolph throughout the story hits on themes of bigotry, sexism and bullying.

"Yearly reminder that #Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism & homophobia w/Santa as a bigoted exploitative prick," read one comment shared by HuffPost along with its Twitter video.

Yukon is the alpha of alphas. Kids need to see this and study him.

Cheers, season five, episode nine, right? Yeah, I saw that one. You have any original thoughts of your own or do you just pawn off words from sitcoms like Cheers for all of your “original” ideas?

Yea I just watched and that’s actually pretty spot on. Lots of dark undertones to Rudolph.

Thank god Frosty is on now. Much more jolly.

Does it bother anyone else the that hat rightfully belongs to the magician guy? He never threw it away like the girl falsely claimed. Frosty needs to stop being a thief and give it back to the rightful owner.

saves having to think

FWIW I posted this on the M/TV board and nobody recognized it. Instead people got all outraged that I dare hate on Rudolph.

So once again, congrats

I watch this with my kids every year while screaming “Only the strong survive!”. They now know that white heterosexual males are the only species worth surviving.
Oh wait. That’s what the liberals think. I actually just watch it with my kids because it’s a very entertaining Christmas story and shows people that if there is a will then there is a way.
I get those confused all the time.

This movie glorifies bullying.

Old white Santa telling all the elves what to do. Accepting Rudolph only after Santa discovers his disability can actually help save Christmas night.

Rudolph's dad wanted him to fit in by wearing that fake nose so he would be included in other reindeer games. Thus, taking away his individuality.

Horrible movie.

Ha! I stole my response from Good Will Hunting, but didn’t quote it as well as you.
