Oh yeah, well that makes sense. College was probably the last time I owned one, because I lived near campus and walked to class.

I thought a golf umbrella was referring to it's size. What do I know? I don't golf.
So, should I google Titleist umbrellas?

Hijack: I'm looking for a high quality umbrella. Most are flimsy and break easily. Can anyone recommend a good brand?

Used to be in the umbrella business. The Pancho craze of 88' put us out of business...I still have resentment.

I agree. People that have to walk in the rain use an umbrella and there's much more of that in NYC. I live in a suburban style city (similar to southern cities) but because I take the bus/train to work I use an umbrella when it's raining.

Damn those look legit, not gonna drop a hundo on an umbrella though.

I use one when it rains, but I have to walk a few blocks from the subway to the Path train.

Nope. I watch the weather and 9/10 times I remember my rain jacket.

I'm the same way. I had a really nice one in college, but a friend broke it in a fight. I just got a new golf sized one for xmas and put it in the closet were I am sure I will forget about it.
I have to weigh the amount I will get wet vs the hassle of carrying an umbrella.
I keep a pocket one in the truck, but again rarely use it. If it's truly storming I'm putting on a pair of Challmete Jordans and a poncho.

Rarely to never. Getting into a car with one is a joke.

I usually opened one and holding it over my wife or real young kids. I keep one in the car in the event of a real long heavy rainstorm.

Use them all the time when walking. It's very nice to have one when walking on a hot summer day.
