Anyone here have wholecut oxfords in their shoe collection?

I am about to pull the trigger on a pair but wonder how they crease with use? Better leather will crease less but they don’t have any seams to hide the lines like a cap toe for example.

That’s how I feel re the creasing. Maybe if I have about 10 other pairs I’d consider getting some in a darker shade. Very unique tough.

Keep the leather conditioned and properly shined and the creasing isn’t bad. What shows just adds a bit of character.

the crease will add some color distortion which looks good. Polished and shined, wont tell much difference.

It depends on how much you wear them and how much you walk. I always have a pair of plain toe oxfords that I wear occassionally, but I also have wingtips and captoes that I wear for regular daily use. I walk a lot, so if I were to wear the plain toes on a daily basis, they would look rough pretty quickly.

Gotta keep those shoes trees in them immediately after each use.

If it's high quality leather and you use shoe trees I don't think it'll be an issue.

I prefer the plain look with a crease over a toe cap. How often do you care if another man’s shoes have some creases?

I have a pair, but don’t like the way they look.
It was a regretted purchase.
But shoe trees and conditioner keep the ugly creases away. Small creases are good looking actually.

Good info. Thanks everyone. I am looking at a black pair for occasional use.
