wife drive 2012 Limited Rav4 and loves the damn thing, no issues with it

Rav4's are solid. The only caveat is Toyota has shitty paint. I have a Camry and my clear coat is starting to peel a bit on the bumper. Mine is an 09. It is one of the biggest and only issues Toyota has.

Other than that its a very good and roomy SUV to be labeled "small". The new Ford Escapes are pretty good as well.

Bro in law has Rav4 with no real problems over past 10 years. Venza is being discontinued soon

I bought the wifey a loaded Venza in 2009. She only has 39k miles on it. She loves it. The molding on rear hatchback pulled apart, but that has been only issue (-Knock on wood). Great car!

Venza.

I have the Venza V6 Touring with JBL & Dual Sunroofs Nice comfortable ride. Very good stereo. A/C is very good. Not a single problem since new. Has 70,XXX on it now. Only oil changes so far. It was between the Venza and its Lexus counterpart for me.
