Just met a dude in the airport who will hit 250k this year based on already booked travel. I've flown between 60-70k a year for the last decade and I hate that shite.
Who among us is in that rarefied air of true jet setters?

If you fly that much and look for reward stuff, you can basically fly anywhere on vacation for free

Related question. Which industries, or certain positions within certain corporations, call for tons of air travel?
Obviously not counting airline personnel.

Pilots with major carriers are one such position with that amount of travel.

I usually travel for work about 15k-20k flying miles a year.

My goal is to be rich enough to never fly again.

I used to travel for work one week a month. It was perfect. I miss it.

Depending on what city you live in and the industry you serve, consultants can fly almost every week.

What exactly are you doing that you're needed hands on for? It's one thing if you've got a lot of international business, but even then most of the bullshite people show up for isn't necessary. If you're not one of the people who has physical hands directly on the project or on whatever you do...why the frick do you need to be there in person?

Time is the key.
Never be in a hurry, relax, avoid airports altogether.
Short of getting jet-rated, full IFR, runway as a driveway, no way to avoid them.

I’ll hit 150k with American Airlines this year.
Executive Platinum status. The perks are pretty good with the free miles. Sent my son & his wife to Hawaii for their honeymoon.
Pretty cool “free” present.
