I quit last night and again after lunch today. It's easy, I do it multiple time a week.

Yep.. and honestly , can you even put a price on waking up every day feeling like a million bucks, and not like you got run over the night before my a Mack truck ?

On the way to work, at leasta 6 pack. Then at work, vodka and orange juice. I was really good at that job, company wide production records, so as long as I wasn't puking or stumbling, they looked the other way.

I quit drinking for 18 years one time.

I was drinking 2 handles of bourbon and a couple of 12 packs of IPA a week. Was tired of spending over $500 a month on alcoho
Had a buddy who started off his heavy drinking slide at about thisnkind of pace. Then slowly slid into the physical addiction, needing to drink in the morning just to avoid the shakes etc...
It got so bad he once drank a jug of piss when he was out of his mind on alcohol.
He eventually lost it all, job, marriage, access to his kids. Died of an overdose at 39 years old when he started mixing in pills to the routine.
