My dad told me he saw an interview with both Jimmy and Jerry Lee once, where Jimmy was talking about how someday he was going to save Jerry Lee. Dad said Jerry Lee just kept repeating "No!"

I used to listen to the radio preaching show out of curiosity. His scholarship on the bible seemed pretty sound... And then the catholic bashing would start and i would laugh and change the station

Um...he used to drink and so did his wife and son. And I'm not a liar just an old guy that has been around him and his family many times...most recently about February at Zorbas table next to me. I had wine. Brother Swaggart had wine too. Good Greek wine and you should try it.

The movie Great Balls of Fire showed Jimmy dogging on Jerry Lee and then he shut up when he gave him his car. Not sure how accurate but sounds true enough.

My friend and I worked on the mail room where Jimmy's mother sat on a raised area facing ladies who opened the mail all day . The mail would arrive and these guys would drop a huge sack by each desk . The person would then open the envelope , take the check or cash and then toss the letter in a big garbage can by each desk . Occasionally they would bring one up to the old lady . This guy had a racket for sure .
