The wife is wanting to update our fridge and stove, and we went and looked at some today. Kind of like the Fridigaire Gallery series in Stainless.

Anyone have an experience with them? TIA

I just got rid of a Frigidaire refrigerator. It was nothing but trouble. We bought it new in 2010. French door with dual ice makers and water/ice dispenser on the door. It was one of their nice units.

The ice maker went out multiple times which the warranty covered at first but not the last time. Interior pieces did not hold up well at all. The pull drawers were all breaking or broke when we got ride of it.

They are cheap crap.

I've dealt with that brand and GE. I found they needed repairs in about the same frequency, but GE has the 1800gecares phone line that makes repairs so much easier. I think they have techs where Frigidaire subs their warranty out. Other than warranty calls being a pain, I liked the appliances.

In he ka at four years, I've bought new stove, over-range microwave, and dishwasher: all Frigidaire Gallery. No complaints thus far. Nice step up from the builder grade stuff the house came with when we bought it.

But, I've been worried after making friends with an owner of a small appliance repair company. Said gets lots of calls on Frigidaire Gallery.

Did all black though, not stainless.

Had a refrigerator for a little over a year and its fricking garbage.

Sometimes it starts humming, then the humming turns into jet engine sound for an extended period of time. I have to turn the whole damn thing off for a few minutes then turn it back on.

The ice maker. Lets talk about the ice maker.

It decides when it is going to make ice, it decides what type it will give you (you want cubed, frick off here is crushed) and it hangs up every. god. damn. time.

A block of 4 cubes will get stuck in the chute, causing a beeping alarm to sound and you have to fingerfrick it perfectly from both sides or your kitchen floor will be covered in shattered ice.

We have the Professional series. Very nice but, I don't care for the dishwasher. It doesn't organize very well.

Three year old frigidaire dishwasher needed full board and control panel replacement... 500 hundred dollars later and the thing sounds like it's about to fricking die again.

My kitchen is all Frigidaire Gallery and it is GARBAGE!!! Microwave broke twice. The Dishwasher broke four times with the same issue (control board). Then on top of that the warranty work is directed to a sub and they did not seem to have much experience. After a year of issues we finally got our money back. JUNK JUNK JUNK!
