Yeah this board is full of old white dudes that are very set in their ways and could NEVER see the other side of the story. Most lack simple empathy or a basic understanding that other people had far different upbringings than their own.

Google it. There's an enormous amount of information on it.

Get this shite out of here. You "give up" your time to earn income for yourself. You should feel lucky that "someone" was willing to hire you.

Some earn their wealth, while others waste the wealth earned for them.
It's their money. What's the issue?

Do we even want a more fair society?
It doesn't come any more fair than our current system. Anyone, I do mean anyone, can become wealthy in our current system. Only the lazy want a "more fair system".

Jesus Christ...
WTF do you want and what would be more fair? The only thing wrong with our system is too much fricking cronyism.

We need more capitalism in our economy. It is by far the most moral of the economic systems.

There will always be degrees of hierarchy b/c we are not all of equal economic/physical/mental worth. Intelligence, motivation, competitive spirit are all elements of human nature. it's a fools errand to attempt to eliminate or suppress those natural feelings in an effort to achieve equality/morality/whatever.
Exactly. Anyone that doesn't understand this needs to go spend some time around the poor. They make tons of terrible decisions every day. People want to feel bad for people, yet the vast majority of the poor are very lazy and make bad decisions to stay poor on a daily basis.
So why should they be equal economically with someone that works their arse off and saves money?

So we can agree that human greed and choice ruins all three economic models yes? Therefore we need a new one. If we are getting more intelligent and advancing, why are we still using models that have a hierarchy
Hierarchy will exists a long as humans run the economy.

More jobs in the US, more stable businesses, better working environments.

Stop worrying about the rules you don't like and play the damn game to win with the rules at hand. Its really that simple.
What is this "rigged for the wealthy" crap anyway?
Literally anyone can become wealthy in the USA. Go to a shite public school system that gets you into a shite 4 year college, and get great grades at that shite 4 year college. Then use those grades to get you into a good graduate school.
Boom, $200k+ a year salary.
There's literally no other country in the world you can do this with such ease, and there's never been a time in history where its easier for a dirt poor person to become top 10%.
So stop complaining and play the damn game.
Sorry baw, I don't like being a pawn in another man's game, that's silly.
My friend just graduated with a masters in speech pathology.....boom 65k a year you fricking dimwit
Just because there are others behind you and you set the standard, doesn't mean the standard can't be improved does it?

If you think you had the same starting line as someone from Leonard Fournette's neighborhood your out of your mind.

cool thanks, sometimes it's helpful to have certain things pointed out to you in a sea of information. Whats the point in you knowing it, if not to share your knowledge?

either you want more power given to the state to destroy liberty of people or you want less power given to the state to increase the liberty of people. more liberty means higher inequality but typically also a higher standard of living

Everyone is given the same opportunity to succeed by the government. Everyone.
If you can't take advantage of free education, maybe you're the problem.

LOL, you expect me to feel sorry for someone that CHOSE speech pathology?
I never said any graduate degree will make you wealthy, that's laughable.
No, you don't play to be another man's pawn. You play the game to win for yourself.
You sound like a liberal arts major that's a barista frustrated because you screwed up your undergraduate years.

The system is open to everyone regardless of upbringing. It's up to the individual to make it in life. There are countless examples of people in terrible upbringings having successful careers. There are countless examples of people losing everything and turning their lives completely around for the better. Is the road harder for someone with a difficult upbringing? Yes, absolutely, but it's not something someone can't overcome. Those that do overcome don't use excuses.

You don't have to, which is the awesome thing about capitalism.
