Travel about 100 miles everyday, 5 days a week, so I'm looking for something with good MPG and reliable.
Coworker of mine travels about 120 miles/day commute and he drives one and loves it. Odd part is he is a country boy farmer working a mechanic job in a plant and you would think he was all truck. Gets great gas mileage and comfort. I donot know what year his is though.
I have personally had two. a 95 and a 09 and both were great.

Get one from around 2010-12 with 100k
You’ll pay $8-10k and can probably drive that fricker the rest of your life
My wife's car is a 2010 Camry with 140K on it and the only thing I've done to it is maintain it and put new brakes and rotors on it. I've not had to touch the motor other than to change out a bad alternator and serpentine belt and that took less than 30 minutes start to finish.

The 2025 models are all hybrids. I’d go that route.

I had a 2016 bought brand new , drove it for 31000 miles and some jackass rear ended me on Hwy 22 in a Dodge Ram, estimated to be going 40-45 mph.
The back end folded up like an accordion , car was totaled but neither me or my passenger were hurt .

Own two, 2018 and 2019 SE models for my boys. The 2018 has 125,000 miles and the only failure has been a water pump which I changed myself for a little under $200. Also had to do the brakes at 115,000. The 2019 has 45,000 miles and no maintenance beyond oil changes.

I've had 2 Camrys in the past and both were great cars. My most recent purchase of a commute car was a 2023 Accord, though, and I love it.
Kinda the same for me.
I was buying a new commuter car for myself back in 2022. Down to the Camry and the Accord.
Test drove both. I was not a fan of the Camry interior and liked the way the Accord drove. Ended up with an Accord Hybrid Sport. Been a good car so far.

I have a 2018. It's nearly perfect. Any well cared for camry in your budget will be fine.
One note....the smallest engine has very very little low end torque (duh). If being the slowest car from an intersection bothers you, get the bigger engine.

Nissan and infiniti are not equal. The frames and such are not shared between the two as commonly as acura and Lexus. Nothing wrong with any of the 3 luxury brands.
I'm on infiniti number 4. The first one, a 2007 g35x, has over 300k with only maintenance and a wheel bearing.
