My good buddy's mom has a bnb in Uptown, and Quincy Williams and crew rented it out Super Bowl weekend and Quincy left a pair of his Nikes at the bnb.

This is a weird thread, out of all the stories on the OT, this is well into the believable category.
There’s a post in this thread claiming a dude showing a sex tape to his buddies, his wife finding out, and unloading a weapon in a room full of people with no consequences going unchecked and you’re the getting called out.

Airbnb, like a lot of things, became a job for people instead of a side gig for some easy spending money. I loved them when I could rent a cot or a spare room for 30 dollars a night in a city I have never been in. I now don't use it because of all the rules, hidden fees, cameras, ect and just use hotels.

I had one for a month in Houston.
From a Chinese dude.
There were cameras all over the house and I called him and told him I was covering them all up. He said they were for security. I ended up staying a week and finding a new spot.
If videos of me shitting go online, I’ll know where they came from.
I did contact Airbnb and let them know.

I did not suggest that they ALL planted it, I suggested that the one who found it probably did and did so out of some sort of sick fantasy or thought it'd be good for a joke. If she was the one who brought it up on the way there this is almost assuredly so. She may have thought it'd be funny and when the others responded as they did she realized it wasn't. People are a piece of work....young girls can be also

Had the same happen in Houston. The owner had the AC locked at 75 during the day and would lower it to 72 at night. I contacted them when I couldn't adjust it the first day and his response was that it was locked. I asked if it could be 68 at night and owner refused. Was a miserable experience so I took pictures of everything when I left in case the owner tried to claim something was wrong. This was the middle of July as well so it wasn't cool in the evening.

Most people are psychopaths. Your insane hypothetical doesn’t even make practical sense, according to the OP they went and got other accommodations for the remainder of their trip. What would be the point of intentionally bugging your Airbnb only to stay somewhere else
