Saw it advertised on Facebook. Says the only musical acts are James Linden Hogg and a dancing group? Is that right? That's all? It mentioned James Linden Hogg is a state fiddle champion? I had no idea that was even a thing

Hell no. That festival is super lame. Baton Rouge is awful for New Year's Eve because everyone worth a dollar who wants to go out goes down to New Orleans.

I’m staying at my house to shoot fireworks off and piss the neighbors off.
I enjoy seeing their nextdoor app posts bitching about how scared their dogs are and how the police should arrest people shooting fireworks

I'm not but I know there will be a lot of heaters out there. Plus there's supposed to be fireworks that night. Funny how it always happens. Finishing off with a bang.
