Of course I have, but that was just my concession of me sleeping on the couch.

A while back, my wife had a bad cold that almost turned into pneumonia and she was hacking so bad that night that I got up and slept in the spare bedroom. The next night she had another coughing spell, but this time, she got up on her own and moved to the couch.

Buy an adjustable mattress. If she snores lift the bed up a hair.

Nope, spent several years at the tail end of my career with the wife at home in Arkansas while I was at one military base or another, won't spend another night without her next to me.

That’s probably the sweetest thing I’ve read here.
Congrats on the happy marriage.

Thanks. First several years she moved with me, but then the the baby we had together became school aged and I knew I was going to retire in a few years, and we wanted our child to not have to jump around from school to school, so we built a house on my farm in Arkansas and she came home with the kids. Then I came home and we adopted another child last year and then this year we started fostering two more that we will likely adopt as well.

This is the stuff that makes me melt and restores my faith in mankind. God bless you and your little family.
