……OK, I admit it. I once stole $200 from the bank playing a game of Monopoly. They trusted me to be the banker, and I just couldn’t help myself.

I’ve been robbed at gunpoint at a bank. They fled to the border, stopped in Lafayette and left a ton in the mattress, then crossed the border and sent money orders back home (traceable), caught and now serving life.

Do people even rob banks anymore
Its one of a couple crimes the FBI will actually faithfully attempt to get correct.
So many other illegal activities that you can do with no time in a blue city.

My great grandfather changed our last name in the late 1800s because he was robbing banks in Nebraska. Turns out the way to get away with a bank robbery back then was to not be at the bank when the cops showed up

FBI/feds actually do not normally take bank robberies unless there are multiples, at least where I’m at.
They’ll come out but as long as things are under control they normally will leave it to the state.
